Technology Standards Policy and Planning Committee

The Technology Standards Policy & Planning Committee sets the broad policy to be followed by the Technology Standards Working Groups; approves the charge and scope of working groups; prepares the technology standards group’s annual budget for approval by the Standards Development Oversight Council (SDOC); approves standards documents for publication, withdrawal or revision; approves the technology working group’s priorities; appoints technical advisory group to assist working groups in the development of standards documents (if needed), appoints a chair and vice chair to lead all working groups; appoints a committee representative to the SDOC; and authorizes implementation of documents identified by its working groups and/or the SDOC. The focus of this meeting is to develop a work plan for FY2023-2024. For more information contact standards@apta.com
