Clever Devices offers a 12-month professional development program for its recent college graduates hires.

Clever Devices does some of its hiring through its successful and innovative Associate Program, geared toward college graduates with little to no work experience. The 12-month program serves two purposes: to hire workers with certain technical expertise and to ease recent graduates into their professional careers. It does the latter by providing structured training, social opportunities, and check-ins at predetermined points.

Check-ins continue until the six-month mark, when associates are brought together for a lunch to begin talking about the second half of the program, in which they plan and execute a solo project. They receive guidance as needed, and present their project to senior company leadership at the end of their first year.
