Half-Day Tour of El Yunque Rainforest
Join us on Thursday, January 25 for a guided tour of El Yunque Rainforest National Park. Tour highlights include the Yokahú Observation Tower’s breathtaking panoramic views of the entire northeast coast, giant ferns, plants, and wildlife; the beauty of La Coca Waterfall and natural pools; and the option to swim in the Mameyes River (weather permitting). The tour includes a certified tour guide and roundtrip transportation. The tour will leave from the hotel lobby at 1pm and return at approximately 5pm.
Attire & Essentials:
- Comfortable clothing
- Closed toe shoes
- Swimsuit
- Towel
- Hat, sunglasses
- Sunscreen lotion, bug repellent
- Umbrella/poncho
Health Concerns:
- Low to moderate difficulty.
- Must be able to endure a 20 – 30 minutes’ walk or standing up.
- The terrain is slippery, please use good traction shoes.
- Trails are not wheelchair or stroller accessible.
- Guests with any of the following conditions should not participate: recent surgeries, back problems, hypertension, or asthma.
- Expecting mothers are not permitted.
- Any health condition or recent surgery must be notified upon booking.
Registration Information: In order to sign up for this excursion, please call 787-354-7350 between 8am and 5pm and identify yourself with the American Public Transportation Association to provide your information. Registration is $99 per person. You may also ask for a link over the phone to provide your payment information. You can call up until 24 hours before the tour, and can change or cancel your reservation with no penalty up until 5pm the day before the tour.
