The Ultimate Test of Transit Skill and Craftsmanship
Compete, Connect, and Learn at the International Bus Roadeo in Salt Lake City
About the Event: The International Bus Roadeo is one of the most distinctive events in public transportation — a hands-on competition that puts the skills of bus operators and maintenance professionals to the test. Held May 15–19 in Salt Lake City, UT, the Roadeo brings the industry together in a unique setting that blends competitive challenge with meaningful training and peer connection. Participants engage directly with colleagues from across the industry, gaining insights and building relationships that extend well beyond the competition itself.
Held in conjunction with APTA’s Mobility Conference, the Roadeo offers attendees access to a broader week of industry programming while keeping its focus squarely on the professionals who keep transit systems running every day — the operators and maintenance teams whose expertise and dedication are the backbone of public transportation.
Who Should Attend: The International Bus Roadeo is designed for the transit professionals on the front lines. Bus operators, maintenance teams, and their supervisors will find the Roadeo to be an energizing mix of competition, skills development, and professional networking with peers from agencies across the country.
