About the Seminars

Transit board members and board administrators come together for peer exchange and professional development on board governance and policy development for public transportation agencies. Transit Board Members Seminar topics include national and regional transit advocacy, workforce development and labor relations, safety and security, mobility innovation, procurement practices and the CEO-Board relationship. The Transit Board Administrators Seminar will cover topics such as transit board member onboarding, good practices in board management and building resiliency as an administrator. A Pre-Conference workshop on board governance will take place on the afternoon of Saturday July 13 for both board members and administrators.

Who should attend: board members/commissioners, and board administrators of APTA operating public transportation system members and APTA non-operating state, regional, municipal, or other local government agency members.
