Celebrate Transit Employee Appreciation Day with Us
We are excited to invite you to participate in this year’s nationwide transit agency video social post!
This year, thus collaborative social video is being put together by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) in celebration of Transit Employee Appreciation Day, we would love for you to participate!
How to Participate
To include your agency in the Transit Employee Appreciation video please upload your content following the instructions below, by no later than Friday, February 28th. Late entries may not make the final cut, so start filming soon!
Please make sure to review your video prior to submitting to ensure that all safety protocols and permissions are followed and that any required model releases and permissions have been obtained.
Video Tips
- Vertical orientation video
- Short in length (4-6 seconds)
- Submit more than one to provide options while editing.
- Fancy camera not necessary. Use your phone!
Video Ideas
Feel free to include any additional footage you’d like share. The more the merrier and the easier it will be to edit. (Not all footage will make the final cut, but we will do our best to showcase your agency). Below are some suggestions.
Show Off Your Agency and City!
We want to see your agency’s operators in action, showcasing what makes your city or transit system unique! Whether it’s an iconic landmark, distinctive regional weather, or the colors, lighting, and aesthetics that define your area, let’s highlight the best of your community.
Your Employees in Action
We want to feature your agency’s employees proudly representing their city! Here’s how you can participate:
>> Capture a short clip of your team in uniform in front of a stop, station, or transit vehicle.
>> Personalize your message—say “Hi from [Your City]!” or make it your own!
The final video will begin with a dynamic montage of transit agencies in action, showcasing employees from across the country. Next, an engaging animated map will highlight each participating city, seamlessly bouncing from one location to the next. To close, we’ll deliver a heartfelt message of appreciation— “Thank you!” and a reminder to “Don’t forget to thank your operator!”
