DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) PROPOSED GOAL FOR FFY 2024–2026
The Virginia Passenger Rail Authority (VPRA) announces a proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 7.05% for DBE participation on work conducted with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding during the Federal triennial period of 2024 through 2026.
In accordance with 49 CFR Part 26.45(g), VPRA invites maximum public participation and solicits comments regarding the proposed goal. A copy of the DBE goal rationale is available for inspection from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m (EST) at the 919 East Main St., Suite 2400, Richmond, VA 23219 for 30 days following the date of publication of this notice.
Written comments will be accepted for 45 days from the date of publication of this notice.

TRANSIT PLANNER

The Baltimore Metropolitan Council (BMC) is a private, non-profit planning entity in the Baltimore region. The BMC’s primary function is to support the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board (BRTB), the metropolitan planning organization (MPO) and its regional transportation planning activities. BMC is seeking a full time mid-level planner to coordinate and assist transit planning efforts in the Baltimore region.
This position involves assisting in the coordination, implementation, and management of short- and long-term transit-related projects.
The Minimum Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in city/regional/transportation planning, engineering or a related curriculum, plus five years of responsible experience. A Master’s Degree may be substituted for one year of experience.

Notice is hereby given that Western Reserve Transit Authority (WRTA) is requesting proposals for:
Transit Vehicle Advertising RFP 2023-4
Detailed specifications may be requested on WRTA’s website www.wrtaonline.com/about/procurement-and-surplus/ or by contacting WRTA’s Procurement Specialist, at (330) 941-5761. A request may also be made by emailing rkoenig@wrtaonline.com.
All proposals must be submitted in accordance with requirements set forth in this documentation and must be received in the offices of WRTA on or before June 22, 2023 by 12:00 PM. There will be NO public proposal opening.
