The County of Jo Daviess, Illinois is seeking Proposals from qualified public transportation consulting firms for a comprehensive analysis of ridership within Jo Daviess County to determine how to increase ridership and improve transit operations.

Sealed proposals must be submitted to the attention of the Transit Director by 3:00 P.M. on September 11, 2023.  Information must be submitted according to the instructions and requirements set forth in the RFP.  The sealed proposal must be hand delivered or sent through U.S. Mail or other courier services.

The County of Jo Daviess reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or to re-solicit. Acceptance of any proposal is subject to concurrence by the Illinois Department of Transportation. Any contract resulting from this process is subject to financial assistance contracts between the County of Jo Daviess, the United States Department of Transportation, and the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Professional Services for Project Management, Design and Engineering Services, Construction Management and Inspection Services for Norwalk Transit System (NTS)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Norwalk, (“City”) is soliciting a Request for Proposal (RFP) from qualified and experienced consulting firms (“Proposers”) with significant experience in public transportation capital projects to provide professional services for project management, design and engineering services, construction management and inspection services to Norwalk Transit System (NTS), via electronic submission through the City of Norwalk PlanetBids (PB) online bid portal site. Proposals must be submitted on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. PDT, to be eligible for this RFP.

INSTRUCTIONS: Proposers must be registered as a Vendor with the City of Norwalk on the City of Norwalk PlanetBids bid portal to access all solicitation documents related to this RFQ. Registration is free and immediate. Instructions to register are provided on the City’s website at: https://www.norwalk.org/planetbids.

Proposals can be submitted electronically through the City of Norwalk PlanetBids online bid portal site: https://www.norwalk.org/planetbids by Monday, October 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. PDT. Mailed, emailed, faxed, or hand delivered Proposals will NOT be accepted.

All questions or requests for interpretation regarding this solicitation must be submitted through the Q&A section of the City’s online bid portal by. Proposers are not to contact City personnel with questions or clarifications concerning this RFP. Any City response relevant to this RFP provided through any means other than the City’s online bid portal is unauthorized and will be considered invalid.

Response to questions or requests for interpretation to this solicitation will be posted in the Q&A section of the City of Norwalk PlanetBids online bid portal. Any information resulting from questions that cause a material change in the solicitation will be posted in the Addenda section of the City’s online bid portal as an addendum. The cut-off for the submission of questions or deviations shall be 5:00 p.m. PDT on Thursday, September 14, 2023. All questions received will be responded to via the online bid portal by Friday, September 22, 2023.

The City hereby notifies all Offerors that the City will affirmatively assure that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are afforded full opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts and sub-contracts financed in part or in whole with funds provided under this RFP and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, gender, age, or national origin in consideration for an award.

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that CDTA has issued a Request for Information (RFI) pertaining to Commercial Paint Booths & Systems. CDTA is interested in hearing from suppliers of paint booth systems as well as subcontractors and other associated businesses to assist us in preparing an Invitation for Bids for the purchase and installation of a new commercial paint booth.

CDTA has outlined our general information needs in the RFI. Respondents may be asked to participate in interviews at CDTA offices located in Albany, NY.

Responses should be addressed to Stacy Sansky, Director of Procurement, Capital District Transportation Authority, 110 Watervliet Avenue, Albany, New York 12206. Responses to the Request for Information are due no later than 1:00PM EST September 25, 2023.

It is the intention of CDTA to issue an Invitation for Bids and award contract(s) related to this project at a future date. Vendors are not required to participate in the RFI process to participate in the procurement of a paint booth system.

The complete Request for Information may be obtained free of charge at our website www.cdta.org on or after August 30, 2023. Only vendors who complete the online vendor registration form will be able to access the RFI.
