Abstract

This recommended practice describes a process for a typical procurement from inception through contract closeout and warranty. The major steps in that process are:

  • Identify and explore the need
  • Evaluate options and establish need for procurement
  • Select procurement method
  • Develop final solicitation
  • Execute solicitation
  • Contract administration
